Working in partnership with 17 voluntary and communitysector delivery partners, Step Forward Tees Valley will support people into or towards employment and/or trainingAbout the roleThey are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their Step Forward Tees Valley team as a Navigator. You will manage a caseloadof participants with complex barriers and provide 1:1 support to people who are long term unemployed to help them move towards and access training and employment. By providing intensive support and advice, the team will help each participant develop a tailoredaction plan and identify how this can be best met through existing services and/or via Step Forward Tees Valleys health, employment, financial and digital inclusion services.As a Navigator you would be responsible for engaging and supporting participants throughevery stage in their journey, addressing barriers and introducing activities to support progression.This role will work solely on the Step Forward Tees Valley programme.Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced disclosure endorsed by the Disclosureand Barring Service.About youThey want someone who has proven experience of working successfully with people who have multiple barriers to employment and is able to run participant engagement activities. Experience of regularly using a Management InformationSystem to support with caseload and diary management. Proficient in accurately completing and updating required paperwork whilst maintaining quality assurance to support in achieving set targets.
