Do you have the commitment and positive values to make a difference to the lives of people living in Birmingham, West MidlandsOur service in Birmingham, West Midlands supports people to actively progress their mental health recovery through support planning,proactive key working, the delivery of therapeutic activities and signposting to appropriate services.We are looking for a passionate, motivated and person centred individual who is keen to join our friendly staff team in Birmingham, West Midlands. This uniquerole combines supervision of volunteers and 1:1 support work in the context of a busy caf, serving service users and the wider public within a mental health setting. You will be the lead worker in running an efficient and welcoming training caf at our YardleyRecovery Hub. In addition to supervising volunteers, you will lead the development and delivery of the tailored work experience/employment opportunities within the cafe for service users with a variety of additional needs who will be accessing the BirminghamMental Health and Wellbeing Hub Service.In addition to providing a supervisory role, you will manage the day-to-day running and assist in the future development of the caf, ensuring that healthy, high quality foods and drink is available from an efficient,safe and hygienic kitchen.This role offers unique and challenging opportunities bringing great job satisfaction to those who are looking to make a positive difference to the lives of others.
