Job Description

The Company:Nigel Wright are pleased to be supporting one of our Global manufacturing clients in their search for a Director of Lean Fulfilment to support the desgin and implementation of a Lean Fulfilment strategy across their network of global sitesThe Role:A newly created role reporting to the VP Global Operations, the Director of Lean Fulfilment is responsible for design and implementation of a global Lean Fulfillment model. Some of the key responsibilities will be:

  • Develop a Lean Fulfilment model to manage production linking to e-commerce demand input
  • Design and implement a site focused training programme
  • Travel to each site to support the Site Management functions throughout implementation to ensure understanding and correct utilization
  • Build strong, value added relationship with suppliers, internal customers, and cross functional departments.
    • The PersonThis is a key role within the Global business and as such we are looking for high calibre candidates with experience in the following areas:
  • In depth knowledge of MRP/ ERP systems
  • Detailed understanding of the end to end ERP system from order placement through to delivery
  • Data driven and statistically minded, able to understand complex data and process into usable system processes
  • Experience managing the end to end Supply chain process, from demand planning, capacity planning, inventory control to delivery
  • Has designed and brought systems and processes to life rather than followed an already established process
  • Prepared to travel minimum 50% of the working month on a global basis internationally including Far East and US
