Development of customer concepts with a view to conversion into production WASP programs.Scope:Respond to customer enquiries Technical and Commercial support for Sales Engineers Contractand risk assessment creation Initial design support for sales enquiries Strategic sales development status summary and reportingKey Responsibilities:Technical customer liaison Support commercial customer liaison Generating technical sales proposalsand contracts including the creation of supporting data Carry out initial risk assessments for new projects and programs quoted Providing technical support for Sales Engineers and internal sales team members Convey customer requirements to internal projectteams at value stream gate reviews R&D technical support for business development Produce supporting costs and data packages for new projects and associated support with sales department process Create departmental specific metric packages - Monthly strategicopportunity and other departmental metric reporting Any other reasonable dutiesKey Skills / ExperienceEngineering related business-to-business sales experience desirable Aerospace industry experience is desirable Contract development experience is desirableDemonstrated knowledge of the companys customer base, their needs and requirements Engineering and design development skills Customer specification review and interpretation Presenting of technical information Conceptual skills Experience and familiaritywith the companys products and line of business Organised and analytical A high standard of customer presentation and interaction requiredQualifications: Professional engineering degree or equivalent Technical experience within a manufacturing organisationDemonstrated business acumen and drive Strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills Competent Word Processing, Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills Exceptional communication skills.
