We have an opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join the team for a fixed period as maternity cover, the anticipated duration cover would be required is 9 months.As a Business Intelligence Developer you will be responsiblefor partnering with analysts, data managers and data engineers to support the delivery of Management Information, Business Intelligence, Analytics and Self-Service Solutions throughout the National Trust. Using your expertise in Tableau and Alteryx you willcreate scalable, intuitive visualisations to support Trusts strategy and enable data led decision making.This post is contractually based at our offices in Swindon but is currently working remotely. There will be an opportunity to explore and agree remoteworking arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. As a guide presence in the office is expected 1 or 2 days per month.This is a fixed term contract due to end when the previous employee returns from maternity leave. At this point wecannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 9 months.Working as a key member of the Business Intelligence Team tasks likely to include: Identifying, defining and capturing Business Intelligence needs with a varietyof stakeholders from across the organisation Development of Tableau reports / dashboards - from gathering initial requirements to publishing and maintaining the final output on NT Analytics, the Trusts instance of Tableau Server Curating bespoke datasetsusing Alteryx Designer and Server Ensuring all content shared with the organisation is clear and produced to a high standard Working closely with the internal Analytics community, keeping them engaged with all things Tableau and Alteryx Assisting with trainingand upskilling other analysts where necessaryTo be successful in this role you will need: Experience of using data analytics tools, ideally Tableau and Alteryx Strong understanding of analytics, data, data structures, and databases Strong data visualisationand dashboard design skills Experience of analytics automation and building robust, scalable business intelligence solutions Good consulting, influencing and stakeholder management skills Working knowledge of agile approaches and requirements gathering Strongability to assimilate and interpret data Experience of working within a broad analytics community, helping others to adopt best practice approaches to business intelligence development Good analytical skills and attention to detail Good planning and organisationalskills Good communication, listening and collaboration skills Ability to work in a dynamic, cross functional and multi discipline teams Strong end user focus with the ability to translate between business and technical impacts and requirements Flexible andadaptable with the ability to handle change Able to convert ambiguity into clear and direct information
