Job Description

A key market player in the spinal and orthopaedic space is currently looking for an Account Manager to join their team across the UK North East (Tyne & Wear/Durham/or commutable). This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, driven personality lookingto apply their surgical sales experience to a leading brand. The company Our client is recognised within the orthopaedic and spinal markets for their innovation, patient care and more recently, their advances in robotics. Their goal is to improve the quality of life for patients with spinal and musculoskeletal disorders. Recentlythey have made huge advances in the surgical robotics field, and now boast a robotic navigation platform that is designed to improve efficiencies and patient safety in spinal surgeries. They are truly at the forefront of technological development. The role As an Account Manager, you’ll look after the full sales process, with the aim of growing new business across our client’s innovative spinal implant portfolio with elements of Robotics and Navigation. You’ll effectively market our clients’ products and utilisea consultative sales approach to a range of clinical customers across your territory. Responsibilities include:

  • Setting, exceeding, and meeting sales goals and objectives
  • Building a full knowledge of our client’s products, their competitors, and the market
  • Forming and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Preparing monthly reports and submitting monthly expenses
  • Liaising with customer services and administrative functions
  • Improving customer satisfaction through support and training
The requirements This role is open to individuals with proven surgical sales experience (2+ years), ideally in the orthopaedic/spinal/surgical spaces, as well as:
  • Degree Educated within a scientific, medical, or relevant discipline
  • Experience within an operating room environment
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the orthopaedic or spinal markets
  • Excellent listening and influencing skills
  • Skilful in performing manual tasks
  • Strong computer literacy skills (MS Office)
  • A hunter mentality and ability to pursue new business opportunities
  • Able to build strong relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
  • Able to make sales presentations with positive results
  • Full UK driving license
  • Willing and flexible to travel across the territory (which may include nights and weekends)
