Job Description

An opportunity to move into chemical regulatory affairs and join a well-established and reputable specialist regulatory consultancy. Do you have good scientific knowledge, attention to detail, strong scientific writing skills, are you able to read/summarisescientific reports and analyse data sets If so, this could be a great development opportunity. Full training in the regulations will be provided.The CompanyA specialist industrial chemical scientific and regulatory consultancy; they are well established, have a long-standing UK and EU client base, a strong pipeline of work and are looking to recruit the next member of the team.The RoleDuties will be diverse but will focus on the delivery of Chemical Regulatory Affairs / REACH services for industrial chemical clients - data gathering, data set assessment, registrations, only-representative work, risk assessment, exposure assessment andhazard communication - full training will be provided; they have a highly experienced team with an excellent reputation.Requirements

  • A degree/higher degree in toxicology, chemistry or similar discipline.
  • A proven track record within a scientific or regulatory role
  • Scientific writing skills
  • Ability to read/summarise scientific reports
  • Data analysis skills
  • Knowledge of the chemicals industry
This role would also suit toxicology study directors/managers interested in moving into a regulatory/risk assessment role.Key Skills: Interest in chemical management, an eye for detail, legislation, Regulatory affairs, REACH, registrations, strategy, Chemical Safety Reports, Exposure Assessments, CHESAR, IUCLID, only representative, toxicology, risk assessments,scientific writing, summaries, data, chemicals, industrial chemicals.VRS Regulatory is the Regulatory Affairs and Risk Assessment division of specialist scientific recruiter VRS.
