Job Description

Pixel Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to join our clients Children in Care Team based in Kings Lynn. Excellent rates of pay on offer at £38 per hour (Umbrella) This is a full time role based on 37 hours per week withan initial contract on offer for 5 months until the end of October 2022, with a possible extension beyond this. Hybrid working is in place. Team Manager Duties:To lead and manage a targeted youth support team to deliver high quality practice in which interventionsare young person centred, community based, and achieve positive short and long-term outcomes for the young people and families supported.Provide professional expertise regarding working with adolescents at risk of extra familial harm (including those who gomissing) to practitioners within TYS and relevant internal and external partners.Work in partnership with key stakeholders (including young people and communities) to plan and deliver contextual safeguarding approaches for individuals and groups of young people.Toensure all casework is effectively carried out to the required statutory, professional, and service standards, and that relevant performance targets are achieved, particularly those relating to the safety of and outcomes for children and the strengtheningof families.To be accountable for ensuring the highest professionals standards and professional conduct.Provide regular, responsive high quality reflective supervision to targeted youth support service staff.To create an environment where practice knowledgeand expertise is shared to maximise opportunities for children and families.To create a culture of focused, curious and critical thinking which consistently explores a range of contexts and hypothesis which make sense of the complexity in which children andfamilies are living.To support practitioners to always communicate clearly, honestly and respectfully ensuring that practice and approaches are proportionate to the identified risk and need.Encouraging and advocating, to support children and young people tothrive and enjoy their childhood and move into independence with confidence and ambition for their futures.Team Manager Requirements:A professional qualification in social work and experience of working with children and young people, in particular previousexperience of working in/Managing a Children in Care Team.Current Right to work in the UKRegistered social worker with Social Work EnglandBenefits of working with Pixel for your next Social Work Job:Your own dedicated & experienced Social Work ConsultantFreeon-going CPD training opportunities upon registering as part of our commitment to you.Competitive Rates of payRecommend a friend scheme - Receive £300 per successful referral*Secure your own role Scheme - Receive £350 for finding or bringing your own positionto Pixel Personnel*In house payroll, offering quick weekly payments and supportEnhanced DBS completed for free upon registeringIf you would like to find out more information about this role, or any other Social Work jobs & opportunities Pixel Personnel haveavailable feel free to click the Apply button below or contact the team on or email your CV to us at *Terms and conditions are applicable to the recommend a friend and secure your own role scheme.
