The charity firmly believes that with the right care, there is no limit to what can be achieved.We have an opportunity for a Support Worker (Waking Nights) so if youre looking for a varied role which incorporates community and residential services then this is the role for you.Position: Support WorkerLocation: Long Stratton, NorfolkJob type: PermanentHours: 38 hours per weekSalary: The current full time salary for this position is £20,321 to £20,933 per annum, depending on qualifications (maximum full time job rate potential is £21,746 per annum which is performance related).Closing Date: 31st July 2022Interview Date: Interviews for suitable candidates will be taking place on a rolling basis. This means the role may close at short notice and without prior warning. The first interview will be a Safe Care/Warner style interview. If successful afterthe first interview, candidates will then be expected to attend a formal interview.The charity work across East Anglia with children and young people on the edge of care, in care and leaving care. Waking Night Support Workers will generally work 10 hour shifts as part of a rolling rota. You will be ensuring the safety and securityof the home and young people. If needed, assisting the children and young people with personal care at any time. You will also be required to support with general record keeping and cleanliness/upkeep of the home.Youll need to be an excellent team member, warm, caring, calm and resilient enough to cope with the complex emotional and behavioural needs of young people in the service.In your role, youll have access to the following benefits:

The charity operates services for vulnerable children and families and needs to ensure that steps are taken to protect both them and the staff teams from the transmission of the Covid 19 virus.
