Job Description

Rthirteen are currently supporting a Norfolk housing business in their search for an BI Engineer. The company has various offices around Norfolk and the role can be based at whichever is closest to your home address, however travel will be required to other offices.The company: This is a great opportunity for someone with previous BI Engineering experience to join a leading business in a key role, where you will be able to grow and further develop your career.   • Assist with the maintaining of the Data Warehouse to enable the efficient production of report-ready data
  • Keep abreast of new technologies that would benefit the group
  • Maintain the data held within the warehouse, ensuring it is fit for purpose
  • Actively seek efficiencies and reduce technical debt
  • Deliver insight and reporting needs to the business
  • Maintenance and creation of data pipelines from source systems to the data warehouse
  • Point of contact for measures and data extraction related queries across the organisation
  • Continuous improvement, seeking out better ways of doing things
  • Curation of data for the BI Developers and Analysts You will have/be:
  • Understand business processes to ensure all reporting solutions are fit for purpose
  • Liaise with customers of all levels of seniority and expertise across the organisation to establish their needs and offer BI advice
  • Assist the BI Engineer to ensure the data warehouse is fit for purpose
  • Curate data to produce reports
  • To take personal responsibility for demonstrating the aims of the Flagship Equality and Diversity objectives
  • To take personal responsibility for own Health, Safety and Welfare and that of colleagues in the workplace
  • Ensure that the Flagship Way is adhered to at all times, and strive for continuous improvement
  • Ensure that IT Security and Data Protection Legislation is adhered to at all times
The benefits:

This role is a 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, it could possibly go to 4 days.This is a full time, permanent position covering.
