Job Description

Blackstone Recruitment are looking for a Band 6 or 7 Speech and Language Therapist to work in a Learning Disabilities setting n Norfolk.A summary of the position include the following:

  • To work with children, young people and adults predominantly with Autism/ Learning Difficulties.
  • Working with an organisation that provides Education and Care across a number of schools and residential homes nationally; working with vulnerable children and young people across the UK.
  • 3 or 4 days working in Norfolk in an independent, specialist day and residential school that caters for children and young people aged 6 - 19 years who have communication and learning challenges associated with Autism. The service is a fully integrated community made up of a range of professionals from different backgrounds employed to meet the diverse needs of the young people and families that we support.
  • 1 day a week working in Suffolk with pupils with social, emotional, mental health, communication difficulties and associated challenging behaviours.
    • Job specifics:
  • HCPC registered as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • To start ASAP but will consider a start date between now to beginning of September.
  • Temp to permanent contracts considers.
  • Paying £25 to £30 an hour depending on banding.
