Job Description

Our client, Norfolk County Council, is seeking a Social Worker for its Kinship & Assessment team.This is ideally a full-time role, offering up to £45 per hour (umbrella).The role will involve the following:

  • The Kinship Care Team offer an assessment and support service to kinship carers (including Connected Persons, Foster Carers and Special Guardians), who offer permanence for children who are not able to remain in the care of their birth parents.
  • You will be required to complete the kinship assessments and your role will include completing Initial Viability Assessments, Special Guardianship Order Assessments for Court and Connected Persons Assessments for Fostering Panel.
Requirements of the role:
  • Qualified Social Worker
  • Social Work England registered
  • Post-qualifying experience in a Fostering/Kinship setting
