Job Description

Principal Geotechnical Engineer (Norfolk)Reference: BY1071Salary: £40,000 - £50,000A fantastic opportunity for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join a team of geotechnical specialists in Norfolk, has presented itself. Youll be working on a variety of ground investigation projects with a well-established company that can provide theresources, support and opportunities to support your career.The Principal Geotechnical Engineering position is offering:

As part of this geotechnical team you will be responsible for a variety of duties on a daily basis. This includes: managing projects/teams/contracts, communicating with clients regarding project progression, tendering, analysing data, reviewing and writinginterpretative reports and overseeing/supervising junior members of the geotechnical team in their work and progression. Experience with geotechnical designing of slope stability, excavation, retaining walls and foundations is advantageous to applications.The successful Principal Geotechnical Engineer will:
  • Have demonstrable and established experience in the geotechnical industry, with an understanding of UK site investigation techniques.
  • Be familiar with the requirements of Eurocode 7 for geotechnical design preparation.
  • Be able to work with a team and lead them where necessary.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hold a valid UK Drivers licence.
  • Live in or be commutable to Norfolk.
