Plant / Site Services EngineerNorfolk Commutable from - Great Yarmouth, Norwich, Attleborough, Diss, Dereham, Lowestoft, Bungay£30,000 - £35,000Monday-Friday - Alternating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pmOur client is a leading packaging manufacturer, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to continued growth they are looking for a Plant / Site Services Engineer to come onboard, leading & coordinating all site related plant infrastructure activities. Role & Responsibilities:*Carry out service, maintenance & continuous improvement projects on all site plant systems*Supervising a team of site services engineers *A hands-on role, with extra responsibilities, deputise for the engineering projects manager*Looking after site electrical distribution (11KV) for the plant *Working on water treatment plant - including control of Legionella*Responsible for factory heating, lighting, air conditioning & gas servicing requirements*Project installs and plant upgrade work*Carry out weekly & monthly maintenance activities, prioritise & plan workload*Dealing with chillers, water pumps, refrigeration, compressed air, fire alarms, sprinkler systems*Manage external contractors when on site*Assisting maintenance engineers when needed on production machinery breakdownsKnowledge, Skills & Experience:*Must be a multi-skilled engineer *Have completed a time-served engineering apprenticeship*At least 10 years experience in a similar site / plant services engineer position *Desirable to have line management experience of leading a team*Must have mechanical & electrical qualifications*Have worked in a site / plant services department within a manufacturing/factory environment *Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills**Be a strong communicator*Dealt with site services, chillers, cooling systems, electrical power, refrigeration, steam & boilers*Able to test water systems - ideally qualified in Legionella*Be an experienced fault finder, diagnosing problems and coming up with solutions *Candidates must have had a stable career history - no job hoppers pleaseShifts & Benefits Package:*Shift:-Monday - Friday - Week 1:- 6am-2pm / Week 2:- 2pm-10pm *Salary:- £30,000-£35,000 + Regular Overtime*Benefits:- Private Pension, Life Assurance, 25 Days Holiday, Medical/Health Services, Free Parking Job Reference No: SE17735 / 534/614If you are interested in this role or looking for something similar please contact our Managing Consultant, Chris Gumm. directly at or call them for a confidential discussion on .
