Our client is part of UKs biggest hospitality group, set up by husband and wife over 20 years ago. Withinthe group it consists of over 100 different small businesses working together across the UK and they have no plans to stop growing either!The roleWere on the lookout for a Payroll Specialist to join our brilliant (we might be slightly biased!) People team.Payroll is one of the most important functions in our business. No matter how great a place we are to work, pay is still incredibly important and getting it right is fundamental!Youll play a key role in making sure this happens with 100% accuracy and on time. Youll be a statutory compliance and finance legislation expert and will know professional payroll and pension services like the back of your hand.What were looking for: We know that the perfect candidate that ticks every box doesnt exist, so if youre excited by the role and can do most of the below - please get in touch. You could be exactly what we need!Were ideally looking for:

  • Proven experience as payroll specialist
  • Experience of using cascade and working in an operational HR function
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of UK payroll operations and current statutory legislation
  • (SSP/SMP/PAYE/NIC etc) and pension requirements
  • Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including word/excel/outlook
  • Knowledge of industry-based payroll software
