Do you enjoy being outdoors in all weathers Would you find fulfilment in protecting and improving the environment as part of your job With this Public sector client, you work to create better places for our diverse communities and wildlife.The job will involve driving, lifting and carrying samples and equipment, working in and near water. You will need to follow operational guidance and adhere to current Health and Safety procedures. This is a field based role and requires extensive drivingin urban and rural locationsAlthough physically demanding, the job is varied, involves collecting environmental samples and data from rivers, discharges, boreholes, groundwater sources and coastal waters. You will support the team with fish surveys which may involve some boat work. Youwill work alone for the majority of the time but part of a supportive team. The West Anglia Team is dispersed and covers Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Northampton and parts of Norfolk, Suffolk and Buckingham.You will train you to collect samples and data using relevant equipment and entering data on smart phone or tablet technology, whilst also ensuring our site information records are accurate.
