Job RoleWe are looking to recruit an IT support Apprentice who is a hardworking, organised individual with flexibility and a willingness to learn. As an Infrastructure Technician Apprentice your main roles and responsibilities will include: Becoming a valued part of the IT Support team.Learning how to provide technical support.Updating company systems.Provide installation & maintenance support for ICTProvide administrative support to ICT serviceUndertake an audit of equipment, loan equipment, licences and warrantiesSupport the Network Manager in creating and publishing user training materialKeep abreast of technology refresh or upgrade and ensure that staff are made aware of changes made and undertaking training of staffThroughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will receive training and accreditation through blended learning. This combines online technical training within a virtual classroom, as well as real-world and practical experience with your employer. The certifications you gain are highly respected and globally recognised. The skills, knowledge and experience you will gain whilst on the programme are invaluable, giving you the best possible start in your professional career within the IT sector. You will need to have a Full driving license and access to your own car, due to working across different sites. You will have a friendly personality, be able to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.Other Information:You will need to have a Full UK driving license and access to your own car as you will be required to travel to different sites.The company offer a generous annual leave package of 25 days plus bank holidays, with school closures at Christmas ensuring that you have protected time away from work during the festive period.Uniform will be provided, as well as all training and support required.
