Job Description

Contract Personnel are collaborating with one of Norfolk’s Rosette premier Hotel. This Hotel is located on th East coasts. many of its 50 rooms are very lucky to have a great position on the seafront looking over the golden mile.Looking for a passionate Candiate to head up their opertaion and make them a Go to Destination in 2020.This kitchen is looking for a Head chef that can not only take the lead throughout their busy events schedule but also re-invigorate their own in house menu, as they look to transform this popular destination into a local hub.The successful candidate will be working within a well-established venue and within a business, which rewards hard work and loyalty with career development and salary incentives.Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating designing event and restaurant menus
  • Consistently plating quality food
  • Leading kitchen team catering for events and weddings of up to 250 heads
  • Responsible for the management/rotas/recruitment/training/HR of kitchen brigade
  • Stock ordering and rotation
  • Maintaining strong relationships with local suppliers to ensure quality of product
  • GP and wage budget management
  • Ensuring safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
  • Skills and experience
  • Worked as a Head Chef in a busy restaurant or hotel dealing with large covers
  • A proven track record of success creating quality and innovative food
  • Worked upto Rosette level
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Previous experience maintaining strict kitchen GP’s
