Job Description

Job Title: Care WorkerLocation: Norfolk & SuffolkPay Rate: £11 - £12Type: Various ShiftsStart Date: ImmediatelyWe are hiring for Care Workers that are looking to provide support to vulnerable adults in residential care homes around the Norfolk and Suffolk region.Duties of a Care WorkerIn this role you will be working in a residential care home to provide care and support to vulnerable adults that need assistance with their day to day living requirements. Reporting to the manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Prepping meals for the residents.
  • Assisting the residents with bathing, dressing and grooming.
  • Administering medication.
  • Making notes on patient records.
  • Assisting with daily activities.
Skills and experience of a Care WorkerAs a Care Worker, you need have experience in:
  • Working in a care home environment.
  • Working with vulnerable adults.
  • Previous experience in the care industry.
  • Being a supportive team player.
It would be beneficial to the Care Worker role if you also had:
  • Knowledge or understanding of people with dementia.
  • A keen interest in supporting others.
  • The ability to take own initiative.
About the ClientOur client has over 20 care homes in the East Anglian region and are looking for compassionate care workers to join their team to take care of the many residents under their care on a zero hour contract basis.
