A food manufacturing business in the Norfolk area is looking for a new Buying Manager to join their expanding Procurement team.Reporting to the Procurement Director, the Buying Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials and some indirects.What the role involves:- Sourcing ingredients from the UK and around the world, working closely with suppliers and internal teams such as NPD, and managing some indirects- Negotiations, contract control, risk management, and supplier relation management in a commercial environment- Management of some direct reportsThe person were looking for:- Experience in food manufacturing- Experience in management / development of team members- Experience in supplier relation management Salary and Benefits:£50,000 - £60,000 per annum + private HC + some agile working 2x per week If you are a Senior Buyer or Procurement Manager professional looking for a step up in a strategic Procurement function within a leading food business, I would love to hear from you.To be considered, please apply directly or email your latest CV and contact details to
