Job Description

HR AdministratorNewtownabbey based company, who are currently seeking a HR Administrator to provide full administrative support to the HR team.This is a Full-Time, temporary position until August 2022working from home and office based.Starting the week of the 11th of April 2022.Working hours: MondayFriday 9.30am-5pm (30 min lunch) Can be flexible with hoursPer hour: £9.90Job Purpose:We are urgently seeking to appoint an experienced Administrator on a full-time basis, to support with general HR admin and to support with preparing for the implementation of a new HR system (PeopleHR).Essential Criteria:

  • Background in HR and previous use of HR systems such as PAMS would be useful
  • Previous experience in roles such as Administration, HR Admin or HR Analyst
  • Previous and demonstrable administration experience
  • Computer literatewith the use and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skillsboth written and verbal
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workloadadhering to tight deadlines
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Providing a comprehensive, efficient, and confidential administration support, to the HR team, on all aspects of the HR function
  • Assist the HR team and relevant managers with the entire recruitment and selection process, as directed and in a timely manner
  • Advertising in the approved media, organising recruitment panels, short listing, interviews, selection, through to appointment and the completion of the necessary documentation and pre-employment checks involved at all stages
  • Aid the HR team, as directed, to ensure the smooth implementation of the Absence Management policy and procedures across the organisation
  • Assist the HR department to prepare, compile and manage documentation for employment relations cases and other, as advised by your line manager
  • Any other duties as required
