Successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations at East Renfrewshire Golf Club (G77). This will include the members bar and lounge, The restaurant offerings and all functions and events. Position will be permanent on annualised hours but due to the nature of the golf club hours will tend to be more sociable than other head chef positions.Salary is £24000 plus Tips.We are delighted to offer the exciting role of Head Chef ahead of the Clubs Centenary Year in 2022.A hugely rewarding and exciting job awaits to work in a friendly environment.Main Duties1. Control and direct the food preparation and delivery of food outlets, throughout the Golf Club2. Construct and adapt all menus throughout the business3. Ensure that systems are in place to maintain the correct quantity and quality of all menu ingredients on site4. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is in good working order6. Manage all H&S aspects of the kitchen, maintaining a five-star food hygiene rating7. To achieve budgeted targets for both food gross profit and wage costs, without compromising standards8. Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience and make the necessary changes9. Keep up to date with market trends10. To maintain a consistently high standard in your department11.
