Company Details and Job Overview:Kenton Black Finance have been approached by a respected and growing Company in the Newton-le-Willows area. This business are a brand leader and are expanding to meet the needs of their strong client base. They are therefore interviewing for a Payroll Assistantto join their already experienced team. This is the perfect opportunity for a motivated and aspiring individual looking for their next step in the finance industry.Your New Role as the Payroll Assistant:As the Payroll Assistant, you will report directly to the Payroll Manager, whilst working as part of a small team of experienced Payrollers. You will be processing payrolls for all employees on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis. In addition, you willbe calculating PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP, SPP and other payments, e.g student loans, travel loans, expense payments. You will be setting up new payrolls and pension schemes with HMRC, whilst being responsible for CIS payroll schemes and salary sacrifice benefits.Lastly, you shall ensure all RTI submissions are processed accurately and on time, whilst ensuring all pay slips are processed.Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:To be considered, you must possess at least 2 years experience in the Payroll industry. Ideally you will have excellent communication abilities and impeccable attention to detail skills. In addition, you will be capable of problem solving, possess analyticalskills and capable of working well under pressure. You must be able to demonstrate that you are well-organised, and able to work to strict deadlines.Salary and Reward on Offer:You will be paid a competitive salary and given the opportunity to work alongside a knowledgeable team of finance professionals.
