Job Description

KJB Recruitment is recruiting for a perpetual inventory counter for our client who specializes inproviding complex engineering solutions to some of the key names in the Aerospace and Defencemarkets. They work with customers in North America and Europe, providing advanced technologicalsolutions to the Aerospace and Defence industry.Job DescriptionTo physically verify inventory quantities (raw material, WIP and finished goods), investigate andunderstand variances and make system amendments as appropriate. To also undertake ad hoc auditreviews of inventory systems and processes as requested.Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the management team to ensure that their business meets its budgetary and other targets.
  • Reporting to their Manufacturing Accountant, undertake the physical verification of inventory quantities, investigating and understanding variances and making system amendments as appropriate.
  • Understand current inventory management processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Undertake ad hoc reviews of inventory systems and processes as requested by the Manufacturing Accountant.
Job Requirements
  • Previous experience of inventory management is desirable
  • Previous experience of undertaking perpetual inventory counts is desirable
  • Strong systems and excel skills/experience required - experience of XA/Infor would be an advantage
  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
