Job Description

Do you have test and commissioning experience, and are you seeking a new job in Newton Abbot Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a gas turbine company find a Test and Commissioning Technician, and the full-time role comes with an attractive salary and benefitspackage.As a Test and Commissioning Technician, you will carry out all aspects of testing and commissioning of equipment at company and customer sites worldwide.To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

  • Conduct maintenance of associated facilities and equipment to ensure the accurate delivery of the test and commissioning process to the highest standards
  • Travel overseas to commission products on-site and support customer site acceptance tests
  • Be responsible for the accurate documentation of test results, collating them into respective databases and/or communication to respective parties promptly.
To apply for this Test & Commissioning Technician role, you will need knowledge and experience in the test and commissioning of gas turbine packages and installations. You will also require the following:
  • Multi-disciplined qualified engineer skills, with HNC/HND or degree in an engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and fault-finding skills
  • PLC control code understanding (Allen Bradley RS Logix is preferred)
  • SCADA understanding (Wonderware preferred).
