Fantastic opportunity to join one of my key clients in Newton Abbot, with this new Stores role. The role includes - * A competitive salary* Office hours, 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday* 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays* Free on site parkingCandidate requirements - * Previous experience in a Stores/Warehouse role, ideally within an engineering environment* Knowledge of goods in, despatch and picking/organising stock* Experience of stock systems, stock checks and monthly stock keeping * Counter Balance Fork lift truck license is desirable, but not essential* The ability to work in a team and with other departments positively* Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft systemsMain Responsibilities - * Receiving, unpacking and documenting goods.* Sorting, locating and organising parts, picking parts for despatch.* Checking stock is in a saleable condition* Repackaging stock when required. * Booking daily pickups* Renaming BIN locations and using the stock computer system * Liaising with sales team to ensure parts picked and supplied when required.* Accurate stock keeping, involving stock checks weekly* Accurate stock keeping, involving traceable checks monthly* Generating purchase orders when Procurement Officer is absent * Arranging world wide logistics when Procurement Officer is absentInterested Apply Today!Acorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
