Job Description

This is an important role as part of the branch team, processing customer orders, purchasing stock from suppliers and dealing with all related matters of sales & purchasing.About You:You may have worked in a similar environment, been a successful internal sales / administrator. You thrive on variety, job ownership and accountability and who is able to work without supervision. You are resourceful, self-driven and able to motivate themselves,taking pride in a job well done and relating to others with in a professional and helpful manner.Key Responsibilities;

  • Receiving Customer Orders and quotation requests on the phone and by email
  • Checking prices with suppliers and generating quotations for customers
  • Entering Sales Orders in ERP system ensuring that adequate margins are maintained
  • Checking and processing supplier order acknowledgements
  • Confirming receipt of orders and delivery dates to our customers
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure delivery dates are made to schedule
  • Monitoring and following up on overdue orders and liaising with suppliers on supply issues
  • Accurately setting up and maintaining, monitoring the stock item details, cost prices, sales prices, packaging units etc.
Skills & Responsibilities
  • Strong IT skills, experience with, Profit Plus or similar ERP software system & good Microsoft Office skills are essential
  • Excellent customer service skills, with good verbal and written communication
  • Good understanding numeric and monetary data
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, resourceful and self driven
  • An ability to work independently and as a team
  • A flexible and ‘can do’ attitude with a pleasant manner especially during busy times
  • Enjoys a varied and busy role
Office-based Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm & Friday 8.30 - 4pm (37 hours per week)
