Job Description

Community Staff Nurse / Nursing AssociateBand 4 - £21,892 - £24,157 per annumBand 5 - £24,907 - £30,615 per annumWe have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse (Band 5) or Nursing Associate (Band 4), who possesses excellent communication and clinical skills, to join the Newton Abbot Community Nursing Team based in Albany Clinic, Newton Abbot. It is a large and friendly team, where you will have the opportunity to develop your existing clinical skills and knowledge of complex patient care, working autonomously but as part of a larger supportive multi-disciplinary team with our health and social care colleagues. We are striving to provide a truly integrated approach to the nursing needs across our locality so there will be a need to move flexibly across both Community Nurse and Intermediate Care work streams in order to achieve this.The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and will provide Community Nursing care, advice and information to patients and carers with the aim of maintaining patients in their own homes enabling them to enjoy maximum independence and optimum quality of life.This is a fulltime post of 37.5 hours on a permanent contract however, we will consider part time hours for this post and work with candidates to support other commitments where possibleYou will be expected to work flexibly between the hours of 7am and 7pm, to provide a 7-day service, including weekends and bank holidays.
