Job Description

Do you want to join a friendly and welcoming team Newcross Healthcare is seeking experienced Care Assistants to care for our service users living with complex care needs in their own homes within Newton Abbot and the surrounding areas. What will I be doing

  • Providing care and support to our service users with complex care needs
  • Assisting with personal care, medication support, feeding, PEG care, meal preparation, social activities
  • Personal care tasks such as toileting, feeding, washing, and mobility
  • Encouraging participation and integration within the local community
  • Ensuring to uphold the Newcross values of trust, empathy and expertise
    • There are opportunities for candidates to work from 22:00 to 07:00 with pay rates up to £11.99 p/hr and from 08:30 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 20:00 with pay rates up to £13.95 p/hr. Requirements
  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • Minimum of 3 months previous care experience
  • Certification in practical Moving & Handling course, completed in the last 12 months
  • The desire to work to enrich the lives of the sick or vulnerable
  • Access to a smart device with internet to manage rotas via the HealthForceGo® app
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory
