We are delighted to assist them in their search for a Transport Shift Manager at their site in Monmouthshire, based on a Monday - Friday day shift.Reporting into the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • The day to day running of the busy Transport operation in a large RDC. With a fleet size of c40 units and 50 Drivers, the site operates on a multi-drop basis.
  • The management of daily KPIs, analyzing load fill, MPG, OTIF deliveries
  • H&S on shift
  • Driver Debrief
  • Constantly looking at areas of the operation to improve and increase Transport efficiencies with both the operation and bottom line in mind.
The ideal candidate as Transport Supervisor:
  • From a fast paced FMCG Transport Environment
  • Proven multi-drop experience
  • Solid customer service background, driven by the demands of KPIs such as On Time, In Full deliveries.
  • Up to date with the latest Transport legislation (Drivers Hours, Tachos, VOSA FTA Knowledge) and possess superb admin / people skills (Returns to work, Attendance Management, Budget Management).
  • An excellent People manager, able to give good examples of leading, developing and motivating their team you will have an excellent track record in achieving through your team.
