Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Director to join the team.Location: NewportSalary: £90k - £110k – dependent on experienceJob Type/Hours: Full-time/PermanentAbout The Company:Our client is a well-established organisation who are at the forefront of manufacturing transformers and other electrical products to a variety of industries such as automotive, aerospace and defence, and renewable energy. With a £5m turnover, they valuedelivering excellent customer service and satisfaction, environmental sustainability, and are leading the way as an expert in their space.Technical Director – The Role:This is a pivotal role for the organisation, responsible for consolidating relationships with their major accounts alongside leading the business into new markets. The successful individual will have full P&L ownership of the site with full control of theirmanufacturing and production activities.Technical Director – Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic direction and leadership across the site to drive company profitability and growth- Oversee the manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production operations while maintaining high-quality standards- Be involved with all commercial activities including conversations with senior stakeholders with their key accounts alongside providing input into the company’s strategy to enter new markets- Manage the financial performance of the manufacturing operations and analyse financial data to identify areas for improvement and long-term sustainabilityTechnical Director – You:- Minimum 10 years’ experience working within a manufacturing environment- Strong commercial background with the ability to build long-term relationships with customers- Highly strategic individual with proven experience in developing business strategy- Ideally have previous experience operating within a technical/engineering roleTechnical Director – Benefits:- Company car/car allowance- Subsidised gym membership- 25 days holiday + bank holiday- Private medical insuranceTo submit your CV for this exciting Technical Director opportunity, please click ‘Apply’ now!Required skills
