COVID-19Here at The BBI Group, we are recruiting for roles to support its work as part of a UK Government consortium, tasked with developing and manufacturing a Covid-19 Point of Care antibody test to support the government strategy on COVID-19 testing.This test would be used by people in their homes to determine if they have an antibody response to COVID-19, which would confirm previous infection.   • The Supply Chain Coordinator RoleAs a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing activities within the company’s supply and demand value stream, to enable the business to realise its commitments to both customers and suppliers. It involves supplier management, procurement and buying of goods and services, goods inwards receipt, through production planning and inventory management, to finished goods shipping to customers.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
  • Raise and process purchase requisitions for consumables and raw materials
  • Collaborate with other members of the team, to routinely review raw materials on site, including past usage history and planned future usage.
  • Receipt and booking in of raw materials
  • Control the approval of raw materials released from storage to Production, for processing, including issuing any released materials to production WOs.
  • Maintain all aspects of incoming raw materials and quarantine areas; ensure that materials are stored appropriately and inform the supply chain supervisor of any testing failures
  • Resolve any issues with supplier deliveries, including replacement / refund for damaged goods and incorrect goods delivered.
  • Provide cover and support for other team members as and when required.
  • RequirementsTo be successful in your application for Supply Chain Coordinator, you will need to demonstrate your ability to work well within a team, along with a strong attention to detail and a flexible working approach. Previous knowledge of Sage systems, inventory management and/or regulated environment knowledge would be advantageous.If you are an internal employee applying for this vacancy you and your manager are required to complete an internal transfer form.
