Job Description

Ive partnered with a VERY exciting company who have a household name brand as part of their digital portfolio, theyre building a Technology road-map for re-platforming their domain around an API first, cloud based serverless architecture to become thePCW leading service.The role of QA Automation Engineer is to build up a robust automation test framework and quality gate criteria to support our re-platform of their service.Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for making sure the testing stack is well scoped, monitored and documented.
  • Writing up automated tests to support re-platforming efforts and driving confidence in software releases.
  • You will test a combination of UI, API, Database, configuration and units of code
  • Participation in hack days, using cutting edge tech to prototype innovative approaches to business/technical goals.
  • Offer support and help develop team members through code review/direction and mentoring.
Requirements:
  • Experienced in NightwatchJS or Selenium frameworks
  • JavaScript knowledge and a good understanding of object orientated programming
  • Browser testing services like Browestack Automate or SourceLabs experience as well as development tools like git and ADO
  • Great communication skills
  • Confident when implementing and testing APIs with Postman, Jmeter or similar
  • Continuously improve quality through shift led practices and lead the DevTeam on how to enhance quality
