A world class semiconductor manufacturing company at the forefront of technology currently require an experienced and senior Process Engineer to join their team! As part of the South Wales semiconductor cluster they have the potential to be part of creating thousands of jobs in the local area as well as reshaping the global electronics industry! They enable other companies/their customers to succeed within their particular fields, creating a service for companies both within the local cluster and worldwide. This is a key position within the engineering team, the successful senior process engineer will be responsible for driving forward cost reduction, yield enhancement, capacity and process optimisation activities in a team environment, whilst adhering to all aspects of the companys safety procedures. You should have experience with at least one of the following: Etch, thin films, wafer fab photolithography, PVD or Implant/RTP engineering.In return, you will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary and benefits within a collaborative and friendly environment, who have the opportunity to transform the semiconductor industry within South Wales and the global electronics industry!Job responsibilities:- Monitoring of processes and process control charts- Ensuring correct documentation is in place specifications etc- Effective communication to shift personnel and other groups as required- Ensuring M.I.S process flows are correct- Implementation of improvement projects to achieve company goals- Process qualification of new or relocated equipment- Responsibilities include; Safety, Yield, Availability, Product quality, Product reliability and Product cost- Write process acceptance specs and supervise acceptance process with tool vendors. - Develop robust processes through extensive use of Design of Experiment, in order to achieve capability indices on processes. - Optimise Recipes in terms of cost and tool capacity and robustness. - Justify and set up roadmaps for future technologies.- To ensure COSHH assessments are initiated and updates are maintained.- Provide technical support to Technicians and other appropriate personnel- Complete manufacturing procedures and give appropriate training.- Supervise process technicians work and mentor and coach junior engineers.Experience/qualifications and skills:- Degree/HND educated in an engineering or scientific discipline (or similar)- 5+ years post grad experience in process engineering - Excellent knowledge of/experience with wafer fab systems and manufacturing processes- You should have experience with at least one of the following: Etch, thin films, wafer fab photolithography, PVD or Implant/RTP engineering.- Strong training skills and technical familiarity with semiconductor products and processes.- Familiarity/experience with Kaizen, JIT, SPC, Zero Defects, TQM and TPM- Experience leading continuous improvement projectsIntaPeople is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.By applying for this job you accept the privacy policy which can be found on our website.Your details will never be submitted to a client without your explicit consent.
