If you want an interview you need to apply directlyto me - applying anywhere else WILL go against you.Senior European Transport Planner£40-55k plus company car depending on experienceNeed someone in place by end of SeptemberBased in Newport - can work from home where necessary but will need to be able to attend the office on a weekly basisOur client is an SME business with huge growth plans, and are on the cusp of becoming one of the major European Road Freight organisations.They are a family-run business but are being recognised as one of the major new players in the industry, and this is definitely the best time to join them.They currently have 250 people in the business as a whole with 45 office staff.Their staff retention is excellent - people tend to stay.They have their own fleet of 100+ trucks currently and are constantly growing. They have recently bolstered their Sales team and are seeing gains from this which will help in their next stage of growth, meaning security and a strong future can be offered.They are currently refurbishing the business premises and updating and re-investing in website / environmental policies / tracking etc., to really help take them to the next level.They are now looking for a competent, experienced Senior Transport Planner / Transport Manager to manage the team.You will be an Experienced European Transport candidate, able to lead a team of 6 in Transport Planning, Customs and admin. You MUST have at least 3 years of EUROPEAN Transport experience - Import / Export of FTL / palletised distribution to and from UKmainland to European destinations. This company has a large fleet and is growing, so this role will ultimately become the Transport Manager position, but if you have the relevant experience and are willing to be hands-on on a day-to-day basis, then the Managementrole could be yours now.You will report directly to the MD, who is incredibly knowledgeable and approachable and will empower you to achieve your goals.Ideally you will have an understanding of Customs processesTeam of 6 currently - 3 Polish, German, French Transport Planners (all very competent) - fresh university graduate (speaks 5 languages) - currently admin but very much on the ball and keen to grow - customs paperwork (works remotely - extremely experienced)plus current Senior Transport Planner.If you have the relevant experience apply today - we are ready to interview those with the right experience.
