Newport - Senior Developer - C#/ C++ / Java& OOP - Hybrid - £60,000 - £70,000Im working with a global leader consider in Time Magazines Top 50 companies and aFortune 500 firm that engineers parts for electronics, youre probably reading this from a branded product that they work with, surrounded in your home by other items thattheir designs power, if you drive an electric vehicle then its pretty much guaranteed youre using their products! With nearly 11bn in revenue last year theyre seeking a skilled developer to join the team.Theyre seeking a strong developer that has experience with C++, given theyre working in an engineering background youll know that C++ is still an incredibly reliable language and answer forinnumerable electronic engineeringcompaniesacross the globe.Youll be working as part of a team of 20 devs in a state-of-the-art office, developing solutions to existing code, creating and developing new solutions,as well as helping refactor the code into modern .NET environment.As an engineering position, youll be working in a Windows environment, not embedded, which means youll be producing solutions in a Microsoft control systems environment for instance creating/working with.DLL files, working with Windows Platforms, Winformsand Studios.Working with the team, there will be times when youll be needed on-site to integrate with hardware and get hands-on, there is flexibility on the working as it depends on whats happening with physical hardware at the time, youll have hybrid working availableand flexible working as an offering.Youll be working as part of an agile team, utilising Azure Dev-Ops for project managementand have a high degree of autonomy in your role.
