As a Senior Building Surveyor, the expectation will be to give support and advice to other members of the surveying team.In addition to this your main duties include: · Provide professional building surveying duties including building inspections, acquisition surveys, dilapidations, contract administration, maintenance and refurbishment projects, schedules of condition, party wall awards. · Working on a variety of projects valued up to a £1 million in a range of sectors including public, retail and leisure and residential.· Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new clients nationally and locally. · Self-generation of business opportunities with the value in the ranges of £50K - £70K. · Develop and maintain an up-to-date awareness of all necessary legislation sharing knowledge and information where appropriate.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Senior Building SurveyorTo be successful in becoming our new Senior Building Surveyor it is advantageous to have worked on a variety of projects to gain exposure to different aspects of building surveying, such as condition surveys, dilapidations, project management, and buildingpathology. As a Senior Building Surveyor, we are looking for someone who is tenacious when it comes to business development creating new opportunities commercially.It is essential that you: · Are a member of RICS and are RICS qualified. · Have a proven track record providing advice on a range of building related matters. · Can confidently communicate with stakeholders both verbally and written.· Full UK driving licence.THE COMPANY:A well-established front runner within Building Surveying with over 20 years of experience in providing consultancy services working in partnership with our clients to build long lasting relationships providing long term solutions.
