Job Description

As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero are looking for a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic Caretaker to join a Primary school in Newport.We are currently working with a Primary school in Newport who are seeking a Caretaker to start a on-going contract with the possibility of permanency for the right candidate.Supply Teacher Contract/Position Details

  • Location - Newport
  • Position - Caretaker
  • Start date - ASAP.
  • Likely Duration - Ongoing supply
  • Position end date - Unknown
  • Contract type - Temporary
  • Full-time potential - Yes
  • Minimum rate of pay - £10.79-£12.31 (hourly)
  • Hours - Can vary due to the school either needing a full day or a split shift.
  • Overtime- this can be available with weekends and in the school holidays.
Supply Caretaker Experience, Training and Qualifications.
  • You will need experience within either construction, handyman roles, or carpentry.
  • Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
  • Understanding of health and safety
To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must
  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional references.
