Job Description

Are you an experienced Registered Manager with a passion for supporting people with Mental Health NeedsWe are looking for a Registered Manager to lead our Reene Court service based in Newport, South Wales.You will be working 37.5 hours a week at Reene Court, a nurse led mixed gender service for people living with a functional mental health diagnosis who require specialist nursing care and support.In this role, you will have overall leadership and management of the service, developing close working relationships with the community multi-disciplinary teams, and other external stakeholders and be responsible for the delivery of excellent care and operationalperformance, whilst continuing to develop commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers.At Elysium, you will be a part of a culture that has a strong emphasis on teamwork as you enjoy support from the team as you embark on a rewarding career at Jubilee House, helping to change lives for the better.Our Registered Manager role involves:

  • Ensuring adherence to the CIW standards and regulations
  • Ensuring both quality and financial targets are met, and facilitating the development of quality healthcare services, ensuring that they respond to the changing needs of purchasers and clients, and also reflect market trends and evidence-based practice
  • As a member of the management team, you will contribute to the strategic development of the care home, ensuring adherence to Elysiums objectives and business plan
  • Promoting and enhancing Elysium Healthcares reputation for high-quality outcomes for service users
To be successful as Registered Manager, you will need:
  • An excellent track record in a management role within the healthcare sector
  • To be a Qualified Nurse with a valid NMC registration
  • Experience of working with external agencies such as CIW, Safeguarding.
  • A passion for improving clinical quality and service user care
  • Strong commercial acumen, to support successful service delivery and development, people management, budget control, business development, and revenue generation
  • An inclusive and supportive management style balanced with strong leadership
  • Previous experience as an RMN
