Job Description

The RoleAs a QC Technician you will be responsible for supporting the QC Scientists and Senior Scientists with their day to day tasks and ensuring that all activities, under job description, are carried out on time and in line with set requirements, global/siteprocedures, industry standards and regulations as required.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
  • Supporting the QC Department with their day to day tasks
  • Performing monitoring, trending and sample collection of the Purified Water System.
  • Performing Equipment verification duties when required by the department
  • Preparation of QC Buffers and Reagents
  • Managing QC Inventories
  • Restocking Consumables
  • Shipping of samples for external analysis
  • Performing stock checks and ordering of standards/reagents/consumables
  • Glassware cleaning
  • Processing and filing of documentation and paperwork
  • Supporting with equipment maintenance
  • Participate in quality improvement opportunities within QC and support the quality improvement initiatives
  • Alerting the QC Team Leader as soon as is reasonably practicable, to any significant quality problem that is identified by self, especially if there is a direct impact on products
RequirementsThis role would be best suited to someone who has an interest in pursuing a career in Science.
