Job Description

Python Django Developer | Hybrid/Remote Working | Up to £65k | NewportYoull be a perfect fit for this role if you are proficient with Python and Django and want to put your stamp on a business.This role involves working with truly game-changing technology. Youll be working on products that are used by some of the biggest and most recognised companies in the UK. Youll be working on different projects as part of a Python development team, withwide-ranging responsibilities to keep your skills developing.The Details:This is an important role within the business that would suit an experienced full-stack Python/Django developer looking for a hands-on role, whilst providing leadership & mentoring and helping to shape the businesss software development processes and methodologies. Youll be joining as one of the more senior members of the teamand will have loads of opportunities to rise through the ranks as the business continues to expand.Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of full-stack Python and Django experience.
  • Front-end expertise in HTML, CSS & JavaScript.
  • Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of web application/service architecture, microservice architecture preferred.
  • Experience with API design and Python 2 to Python 3 migration is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain software applications using Python, Django, and related tech.
  • Translate business needs into deliverable artifacts, designing scalable architectures.
  • Improve performance, reliability, and team efficiency, while mentoring and providing technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay updated on Python advancements and propose innovative solutions.
