Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading public sector division as Project Managerona permanent basis.Client DetailsMy clientisundergoing an excitingperiod of digital transformation. Due to this they requirean experiencedProject Managerto join their South Wales team.DescriptionThe successfulProject Managerwill be responsible for:

  • End to end project delivery
  • Regular maintenance of the MS project programme and project plans
  • Ensuring projects are delivered to within budget and on-time
  • Identifying and addressing any risks relating to projects
  • Establishing strong relationships with internal stakeholders
ProfileThe successfulProject Managerwill possess:
  • Prior experience delivering complex projects and programmes, ideally within public sector
  • Good knowledge of project management principles
  • Experience of creating and managing a variety of project management artefacts such as detailed Gantt, POAP, Level 0 plan, Milestone tracker
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of delivering in both IT and Business Change environments
  • An understanding of cross government controls and assurance processes such as Government Digital Service, GDS spend control and service standards highly desirable
Job Offer£39,000 - £42,000 basic + excellent benefits
