  • The RoleAs a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation of Rapid Test Sub Components.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Manufacturing Rapid Tests, sub components and other diagnostic products
  • Ensuring batch record completion is up to date and accurate, including performance of defined checks
  • Labelling and reconciliation of Rapid Tests and Components
  • Packing and finishing of Rapid Test components
  • Operating various pieces of production equipment associated with the manufacture of Rapid Tests and Components
  • Maintenance, calibration and cleaning of equipment, as well as maintenance and cleaning of all production rooms
  • Refer to appropriate person(s), e.g. supervisor or technical experts when issues arise
  • Keeping GMP compliant records
  • Adherence to all SOPs, Eps and relevant documents
  • Participation in equipment and process failure investigations and troubleshooting (when required)
  • To identify and suggest ideas in support of Continuous Improvement and cost reduction initiatives
  • To follow all company policies and procedures, and work in accordance with company standards and regulatory guidelines
  • RequirementsTo be successful for the Production Technician vacancy, you will need to demonstrate your ability to work as part of a team effectively, with strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills. Experience in a relevant industry or scientific qualifications are desirable but not essential.If you are an internal employee applying for this vacancy you and your manager are required to complete an internal transfer form.
