Job Description

Production Planner Location: NewportPosition: Full time, PermanentSalary: Up to £26,000 + annual bonusOur Client: Autograph Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established, successful business based in Newport. With national, and international presence, my client imports, trades, and processes steel. They provide innovative products and services to customers,and are now looking for highly motivated and results-oriented Production Planner to join them.Ideally, we are looking for a candidate that has a strong understanding of an engineering / manufacturing environment. They will be d edicated and punctual, to contribute to the companies impressive development targets.As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for buying and distributing products whilst maintaining relationships with customers, and delivering sales satisfaction. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, and trackingand reporting on sales performance.This could create a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to shape a career with progression and reward opportunity. The successful candidate will have strong inter-personal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced service orientated business.Our client is committed to providing full training for the right candidate.Responsibilities of Production Planner:

  • Planning and scheduling deliveries and production to achieve targeted stock levels, ensuring immaculate customer service levels
  • Inputting sales orders into ERP system
  • Liaison with sales and operations personnel
  • Review recommendations to produce purchase orders
  • Review and set target stock levels using sales and forecast data
  • Ensure accuracy and timely order and delivery completion of production
  • Maintain and manage customer expectations, developing strong relationships
  • Monitor delivery performances of suppliers
