Product Development Engineer - Munitions £30.00ph - inside IR356 month contractGlascoedAre you a Project Engineer educated in a mechanical or chemical engineering field Can you offer product development experience and would you like the opportunity to work with a leading defence engineering business working on the full product lifecycle for Munitions products This is a unique opportunity to get involved in all levels of the product lifecycle from concepts, development, testing, qualification, production and in service support. As a Product Development Engineer you will assist product design and system engineering activities for new and legacy munitions products. You will offer experience in product design and process design and be able to offer knowledge and experience in the associated analysis techniques such as Pugh, DFMEA, FTA and process design analysis techniques like PCP, PFMEA. You must be able to read and understand engineering drawings and models and you must be capable of producing high quality technical reports Although not essential it would be highly advantageous to also hold current valid UK Security Clearance to SC level or higher as well as knowledge of munitions design and manufacture.
