We are looking for a risk and compliance oversight officer for a financial services client based in South wales. You will be working as part of the Second Line Risk and Compliance function. The successful candidate will need experience of working within a first or second line of defence oversight. The Role:*Producing and analysing core MI for internal committees.*Promoting and embedding the Enterprise Risk Framework. *Regular monitoring and oversight activities of key data protection procedures including data breaches, data subject access requests and will be required to produce accurate information for reporting purposes.*Representing the department in any Change Risk projects as and when requested and*Support other areas within the Risk and Compliance function such as Enterprise Risk and Financial Crime.Requirements*Previous experience within a Second or First Line Oversight role*Educated to degree level or equivalent experience*Strong awareness of the financial services industry and sound regulatory knowledge*Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)*Strong analytical and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge others appropriately*The ability to work as part of a team as well as working autonomously and on ones own initiative*Resilient and able to hold personal independence and opinion*Strong time management skills;* Proficient in all MS packages;If you have the skills we are looking for and would like more information on the role please send your CV to Required skills
