Our client are global manufacturers and distributors of vital component parts for thousands of products and an exciting new position for a New Product Coordinator has arisen at their manufacturing site in Newport. The role is office based working 0800 - 1600 (fairly flexible re start and finish times to fit in with the office environment so 08:00 - 16:00 or 09:00 -17:00 etc) 37.5 hours per week.Role purposeThe main purpose of the role is to maintain and oversee administrative functions relating to on-boarding new Items/Projects & Customers within the Health & Personal Care Sector for the Newport Site, working with Customer Service, Technical Teams to developa robust process to maximise opportunities to develop new business. Working with MS Office to track projects ensuring all materials are in place prior to trial, overseeing and capturing information within Trial Reports and collecting Data for reporting to the Newport Management Team and wider business. Operational administrationduties may be required in addition to this role. Accountabilities/ duties* Work with all Departments to schedule Projects and Trials. * Liaising with Customer Service/Planning/Technical and Operations to ensure delivery. * Capture Key Information relating to Project and record in MS Office Applications. * Attend Trials and record findings - update Job Bags accordingly. * Develop Trial process from existing structure, writing new Procedures where necessary. * Create reports from MS Office to capture Trial Status and required actions. * Record time on press/obtain quotations and actual spend/time analysis. * Other internal administrative duties as required, assisting other Departments (i.e. Operation. Customer Service, Quality). * Office hours with occasional requirement to work outside normal hours. * Role may involve travel (Domestic & International). * Opportunity for progression in Customer Service/Operations.
