Job Description

Location: Working in SOUTH WALES, driving licence is required as may cover Cardiff, Newport, Avonmouth/Bristol, GloucesterSalary: £30,000-£38,000 per annum based on experienceContract: Full Time (40 hours per week minimum), Permanent ContractThe Role: working for a leading specialist provider in telecom FTTP network design, build, installation and maintenance, were looking for Build & CivilsDelivery Supervisor working in the telecommunications industry.Full clean UK driving licence required.You will:

  • Co-ordinate resources to ensure delivery of required daily productivity.
  • Support SHEQ in toolbox talks, QA memos, liaise with Quality auditors
  • Responsible to ensure van audits, onsite audits.
  • Monitor the quality performance of works (clegg testing) and adherence to Customer and HAUC Specifications.
  • Subject matter expert for any onsite technical issues.
  • Supervision of onsite engineering teams to avoid FPNs or S74 fines
  • Coordinate all Highway activities with local authorities and back-office staff ensuring appropriate Notices and traffic management are in place.
  • Covering of out of hours (emergency restoration service) rota ~ 1 in 8 weeks
NRSWA Accreditation units 10-16 + NOPS + CSCS qualifications required. Requirements: at least 3 years experience working within the Build/Civils/Telecoms industry as a supervisor or highway inspector. Ideally a background in Construction Utility. Experience in client management, planning, logistics, resourcemanagement and commercial controls. Able to use Microsoft Office and computer systems as well as financial awareness. Able to work with technical drawings, experience in surveying and detecting underground apparatus and some experience in telecoms or undergroundcabling.Good awareness of Health & Safety and Quality Assurance Procedures, Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Construction Design Management Regulations and Section 74 Regulations.SROH and Notices and Permit desirable.--- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
