Job Description

Neighbourhood Manager Immediately Required - Newport.Location: Newport.Hours: 37 hours/week.Duration: 8-month contract.Start: ASAPSalary:£31,165 per annumAre you an experienced housing manager seeking an exciting new role Do you aspire to create a positive community impact while collaborating with dedicated colleagues If so, BRC is currently hiring a Neighbourhood Manager to join an exceptional team in Newport.This organization is deeply committed to delivering top-tier services to the community. Their passion lies in ensuring tenants receive the necessary support to effectively sustain their tenancies. They are actively seeking a capable and self-assured leaderto guide the team.This position entails providing diverse housing management services to tenants. Responsibilities include resolving conflicts, safeguarding against, and assisting victims of antisocial behaviour, conducting property inspections, and overseeing tenancies.Responsibilities:

  • Attend multi agency meetings.
  • Ensure that properties are clean, furnished and well maintained.
  • Support and encourage residents to understand their responsibilities in order to maintain their tenancy.
  • Support victims of antisocial behaviours.
  • Manage and resolve neighbourhood disputes.
  • Attend court hearings when necessary.
  • Manage the delivery of planned works.
  • Note and seek to resolve any disrepair.
  • Respond to customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.
  • Budget management.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a wider team.
  • Ensure safeguarding measures and procedures are always in place where required.
Person specification:
  • The correct candidate of this position will be a compassionate and caring individual.
  • It is important that you are able to build and maintain relationships with tenants.
  • It is vita that you are able to lead a team and display confidence and composure.
  • You will be required to delegate decisions and responsibilities.
  • It is crucial that you can manage your time effectively and prioritise.
  • Experience working within a similar role previously is required.
  • You will need to display strong knowledge of the sector.
  • The right candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and show resilience.
