Job Description

Mobile Plant FitterNewport£16 Per HourThe CompanyOpportunity to join a National leading managed service provider, specialising in manned and unmanned vehicle hire, plant and transport solutions, focusing on safety and service.They pride themselves on fostering a great working environment, if youre passionate about doing great things in a fast-moving industry, wed love to hear from you.The RoleThis is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday and some weekend work may be required from time to time. You will work remotely from home and be provided with a company van. Your own tools will be required for this rolealthough larger equipment I.e. diagnostic equipment will be provided. Duties will include:

  • Visiting customers premises to provide support on their plant fleet
  • Working on a wide variety of construction equipment including Volvo and Doosan
  • Equipment up to 75 tonne
  • Servicing and general maintenance
  • Diagnostics and fault finding
  • Minor and major repair work including Hydraulics
  • Customer liaison ensure clients needs are met
  • All relevant record keeping and administration work including completion of job cards
RequirementsThe successful applicant will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
  • Must have a recognised Plant apprenticeship or time served
  • Fully skilled in all aspects of plant repairs and maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and effectively at various sites
  • Ability to promote high levels of customer service and professionalism at all times
  • Current and full driving license
